PLA+ is eSUN's improved PLA. It prints at the same low temperatures and with the same lack of fuss as ordinary PLA, but the formulation has been changed so that parts bend before they break. It is the spool we hand to people buying their first filament, and it is the one most of them come back for.
The layer bonding is stronger, so prints resist splitting along the layer lines, which is where plain PLA usually fails first. It is also less brittle, so thin walls and snap-fits survive being handled. Warping is low and stringing is minimal, and none of that needs a heated chamber. It runs on Bowden and direct drive machines alike, and a plain brass nozzle is fine.
Prototypes and functional mock-ups, enclosures, jigs, tabletop miniatures, architectural models, signage and toys. If the part will sit in direct sun or near a heat source, PETG, ASA or ABS will serve you better.
